How to Create an Invention Disclosure

Overview

Use this guide to draft and submit an Invention Disclosure in Tradespace.

Steps

1. Go to Home → Disclosures and click + New Disclosure.

2. Enter a clear Title.

3. Upload a File with invention details and click Continue.

   Accepted formats: PPT, PDF, manuscript, transcript, audio, and more.

4. On Questions, complete the required fields:

   • Contributors → select or + Create New Contact

   • When first conceived → choose a date

5. Click Continue to generate the draft, review, then Submit.

Tips

• Generation can take a few minutes; drafts appear under Home → Intake.

• Use descriptive titles so teammates can search and filter effectively.
