Overview

Admins in Tradespace have access to a comprehensive set of settings that control the account, team membership, notifications, and platform configuration. This guide walks through each area available under Settings.

Account Settings

Found under Settings β†’ Account Settings, admins can update:

  • Account Name – The display name for your organization on Tradespace.

  • Contact Email – The primary contact email for the account.

  • Billing Email – The email address where billing communications are sent.

After making changes, click Update to save.

Notifications

Found under Settings β†’ Notifications, admins can configure email notification preferences:

  • Task Summary – A daily email listing all reminders, tasks due, and assigned tasks on a given day.

  • Individual Task Notifications – A separate email for every task reminder, due date, or assigned task.

  • IP Assessment Report – Receive an email when a new IP assessment report is available.

Toggle each option on or off and click Update to save preferences.

Document Categories

Found under Settings β†’ Document Categories, admins can create and manage document categories that appear across all items of a given object type. Regular users can also create their own custom categories, which are visible only on individual items.

Admins can add categories for the following object types:

  • Account Organizations

  • Agreements

  • Bills

  • Contacts

  • Deals

  • Departments

  • Disclosures

  • Expenses

  • Filing Events

  • Filings

  • Grants

  • Ideas

  • Invoices

  • Opportunities

  • Payments

  • Receivables

To add a category, expand the relevant object type and click + New Category.

API Keys

Found under Settings β†’ API Keys, admins can create and manage API keys for programmatic access to Tradespace. Each key shows:

  • Name – A label for the key.

  • Key – The masked API key value.

  • Status – Whether the key is Active or inactive.

  • Requests – Total number of API requests made with the key.

  • Last Request – The date of the most recent API call.

Click + New API Key to generate a new key.

Team Management

Found under Settings β†’ Team, admins can manage all platform users. The Team page shows:

  • All Members (name, email, role, status, and join date)

  • Pending Invitations – Invites that have been sent but not yet accepted

Click + Invite Members to add new team members to the account. Admins can search existing members by name or email.

Inventors

Found under Settings β†’ Inventors, admins can manage inventor accounts separately from team members. The Inventors page shows:

  • All inventor Members (name, email, role, status, and join date)

  • Pending Invitations – Inventor invites that have not yet been accepted

Click + Invite Inventors to add inventors to the account.
